I sat at my desk, tidying up my space, when I picked up a gold necklace chain. It was smooth in my hands and I sat for a moment, staring at it, thinking as I gently tugged on it.

Words began flowing and I grabbed an open notebook to scribble them down.

My Child, let go of the chain. You are grasping onto what used to hold you back, but that is gone now. I have released you from that; it does not have any power over you any more.

I know you have been overwhelmed with fear and doubt.

I saw you under the fig tree.

Your chains have been released, yet you grasp on to them so tightly you do not know you are free. Look up and see your Father in Heaven. He has brought you through this hard time. He knows what you have been through. He feels what you felt. He has strengthened and nourished you.

Now go, worship God and give thanks to Him. He is with you.

My Child, do not forget how much I love you. The world distracts and divides and you are led away. Hold fast to my promises. I will never leave you nor forsake you. You are my dearly loved Child.

May the Lord bless you and keep you close to Him forever. ❤
